Alona Dolinsky

Postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Political Science and International Relations at University College Dublin. Her Research focuses on comparative party politics and political representation. Her doctoral thesis examined parties' group appeals and their implications for inter- and intra-party behavior (coalition formation and candidate selection) in Israel and the Netherlands between 1977 and 2015, using a novel dataset built on multi-lingual text analysis. She is involved in multiple projects examining party behavior vis-a-vis voters, inter- and intra-party competition primarily in Western Europe.
