Work Package 4
WP4 focuses on texts from political organizations, such as those from political parties and interest groups. Political organizations are producing an increasing amount and variety of texts (e.g., manifestos, press releases, newsletters, tweets). Automated tools offer new possibilities for accessing and analyzing these texts, which opens several opportunities for research, but also presents challenges. WP4 aims to systematize the broad range of texts produced by political organizations and to raise awareness about existing research opportunities. This will be done by listing and linking to existing data sets and sources of texts, by evaluating their accessibility and usability, and by developing tools for analysis. Learn more about WP4!
